Made by Choctaw artist Parnell McDaugale, this incense burner was made for use and is a fully functional native american piece of art. Smoldering charcoal is placed into the bowl of the the pedestal and incense of your choice is sprinkled onto the smoldering charcoal diffusing the essential oil of the herbs or incense you prefer into the atmosphere.
 
Made from natural wild clay gathered in the high deserts of New Mexico, and hand painted from natural mineral pigments.  This piece was hand built and fired in a charcoal fire, ensuring a durable finish.
